Reg Blake & Ernie Heaysman working in Northampton 1963Taking his years of experience from an apprentice to a leading foreman in construction, Ernie Heaysman went on to establish his own business in 1969.
From there E G Heaysman Ltd T/A Barncraft grew from strength to strength, with most of the work coming from returning customers and word of mouth.
E G Heaysman Ltd was dedicated to the commercial building side of the industry. Barncraft focused and specialised in timber frame buildings. Barncraft had the freedom of the versatility of wood and the endless possibilities to create beautiful and practical buildings for any setting.
Ernie Heaysman is the designer of all Barncraft’s buildings, and from the drawing board through manufacturing to the completed construction Ernie and his team pride themselves on working the full project.
With the many years of experience in local, national and European projects, Barncraft has earned an enviable reputation as a dependable, no-nonsense company that consistently delivers quality buildings on time and to budget. This is the guiding principle behind Barncraft's approach to doing business.
